I got the email I was waiting for~ Anna had been born and the "J " family was ready for her newborn photo shoot! So here are some of their images, Anna just four days old. What a little beauty she is... They are all in love. Enjoy! And right at the end of her session she awoke. Welcome to the world Anna! I will remember this day, always. Much love and best wishes to the "J" family. Thank you for welcoming me into your home.

![]() I received a message this morning from a friend who was wondering what exactly the Boudoir sessions are about. She is interested in helping women feel comfortable in their bodies... Well, I was inspired to write this blog. YES That's what *this* is all about! Picture this, me standing at the top of Mount Washington (with my camera, of course!) shouting, "WE ARE AMAZING. WE ARE WOMEN. WE ARE STRONG. AND WE ARE BEAUTIFUL!" Maybe even a ROAR! (HA). So…again, Why do I do boudoir? I noticed women, including close friends of mine, finally connecting with their bodies--many still learning to love their new and different, post-baby bodies. For some it may be a reconnection. But for most it was simply 'connecting'. A few women were working really hard to regain strength and feel fit. Some just wanted to feel good about themselves as they were. They all wanted to capture that sensual self that often gets lost as we age. They wanted to bring sexy back. We came together and decided to create images that would be empowering and real. Some women kept their images for themselves, to feel proud and to remind themselves of their beauty. And others made books to share with their partners. It was very positive--not just in how the photos came out, but in the impact of the whole experience. There was talk afterwards among these women about how they grew after this session, and how amazing they felt after receiving their images. I received beautiful thank you cards and messages thanking me for making them feel comfortable and beautiful. It was powerful. So, now I offer this as an individual portrait session, or a group offering where women can come together and support each other. And by the way, some women didn't have lacy panties or fancy Victoria Secret bras. Some came with costumes, some with their instruments, some with their partner's shirt, and some just as they are, their authentic phenomenal selves. Oh, and there may have been some wine and chocolate involved… A session generally lasts about an hour. The ideal space will be where you are most comfortable, which for many is their own home.
